About me!
I was born and raised near Ocean City, New Jersey. I graduated from the University of Delaware (Go Hens!) in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education, in which I am dually certified in both.
I married my best friend Dan Bossert in July 2011. Dan is an adapted physical education teacher in the Christina School District. We recently bought a house and have been hard at work fixing it up and making it ours.
Some hobbies of mine are cooking (my grandmother is the greatest baker around), reading, and spending time with my family. My older sister and her husband are also teachers in Delaware and we have been hard trying to have our parents move to Delaware with us! We are an incredibly tight knit family and I don't know what I would do without them.
My husband and I have just began taking graduate classes at Wilmington University. We are working to earn our Masters Degree in Applied Technology in Education. I am excited to be able to incorporate many new ideas and technologies into our classroom to keep education fun and exciting!
I love teaching. While this is only my third year of teaching, I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was in the third grade. Each student I encounter teaches me something new. I cannot wait to continue to grow and learn from the teachers and students around me. When asked what I would do if I did not teach, I have no answer. There is nothing in this world I would do over teaching. I thank you in advance for the pleasure of teaching and getting to know your child!
